Caryn Hubbard

High School: Central
2004 Fall Season: Hubbard appeared in eight games, including four
starts. In 20-2/3 innings, Hubbard posted a 2-2 record with wins over
Mid-Continent and Crowley’s Ridge. She is also a member of the Lady
Saluqis’ 3.0 Club, and had a grade point average of 3.33 for the fall
semester.
High School: Hubbard lettered four years at Memphis Central High
School under coach Karen Young. She was named all-district and all-metro
three years, and was named Team MVP and the MIAA Player of the Year her
senior season. Hubbard compiled a 16-1 pitching record her senior season,
including 11 no-hitters and six shutouts. As a hitter, Hubbard led the city
with 17 home runs. She also lettered on Central’s basketball team. Hubbard
played summer ball for the Lady Warriors, coached by Louis Holmes. In
addition, she coached in the Memphis Redbirds RBI Program from 2002-2004.
Personal: Born January 7, 1986, in Birmingham, Alabama, Hubbard is
the daughter of Reverend Colenzo and Debra Hubbard. |
