Spring Season:
Mullins appeared in 15
games as a pitcher during her freshman season, including 11 starts and six
complete games. She struck out 39 batters with only 15 walks in 63-1/3
innings of work. Mullins also saw action in the outfield, batting .333 with
nine runs batted in and a .440 on-base average.
High School: Mullins played at Marion (AR) High School, where she was
coached by David Horton. Her senior season, Mullins was named AAAA East
All-Conference, and to the Arkansas All-State Team. She posted an 11-11
pitching record with a 1.40 earned run average. Mullins batted .295 with a
.725 on-base average and also had a fielding average of .990. Her junior
year, Mullins made the AAAA East All-Conference Team and played in the
Junior All-Star Game. She had a 11-7 pitching record with a 3.50 ERA,
batted .276 with a .730 on-base average, and fielded .985. Mullins played
summer ball for the Bombers, coached by Dion Harrison.
Personal: Born August 20, 1986, in Memphis, Mullins is the daughter
of Micheal and Leigh Anne Mullins.
