2007: Brewer started 20 games at third base as a freshman
before suffering a season-ending knee injury. Brewer led the Lady
Saluqis with a .386 batting average including .500 with runners in
scoring position. She also led the team and ranked in the top ten
in the conference in doubles per game, RBI per game, hits per game,
and runs per game. Against Northwest-Shoals, Brewer had five hits
including a school-record three doubles.
High School: Brewer played for Coach Brian Shollenberger at
Florence High School and led the team with a .373 batting average,
60 hits, 12 doubles, 24 runs batted in, .464 on-base average, .453
slugging average, and .985 fielding average. Brewer, a
catcher-infielder for Florence, was named to the Florence
Times-Daily 4A-6A All-Area team as a senior and received the team
award for Top Offensive Player.
Personal: Born January 22, 1988, in Florence, Alabama,
Brewer is the daughter of Kenneth and Wanda Brewer.
