Frizzell lettered four years for Coach Martha Lawler at Covington
High School, where she started at third base and helped lead her
team to the Class AA state tournament as a senior. She received
Covington’s “Best Defensive Player” as a senior, the “Hustle Award”
as a junior, and “Most Improved” as a freshman. Frizzell was also a
member of Covington’s cheerleading squad for four years and was
selected a UCA All-Star.
Personal: Born December 22, 1988, in Memphis, Frizzell is
the daughter of Carole Frizzell
