WHITNEY GRIMES

High School:
Grimes played for Coach Tanya Garey at Jacksonville High School,
where she helped lead her team to a 64-17 record during her career
and was selected all-conference three years. In 2006, Grimes batted
.450 and led Jacksonville High to the semifinals of the Arkansas
Class 5-A state tournament. Grimes played summer travel ball for
the Arkansas Devil Dogs and was a four-time tournament Most Valuable
Player in 2006. In addition, Grimes was a pick-up player for the 18
and under National and World Champion Cole Minnows team.
Personal: Born January 28, 1988, in North Little Rock, AR,
Grimes is the daughter of Derrick and Janie Grimes.
