McLennan lettered four years for Coach Glenn Goulder at Munford High
School, where she played second base, third base, and pitcher.
McLennan’s honors include All-District 13AAA four years, the
Commercial Appeal’s Best of the Preps All-Metro team four years,
all-district tournament three years, District 13AAA tournament MVP
as a freshman, and Best of the West nominee three years. As a
senior, McLennan batted .420 with seven home runs, 45 runs batted
in, and 15 stolen bases. During her high school career, McLennan
was also honored as the Millington Star’s “Star of the Week”, the
Covington Leader’s “Athlete of the Week”, and received honorable
mention for the Millington Star’s “Softball Player of the Year”.
Personal: Born August 11, 1989, in Memphis, McLennan is the
daughter of Danny and Tammy McLennan.
