Wilson lettered four years for Coach Glenn Goulder at Munford High
School. As a senior, Wilson posted a 21-5 pitching record with a
1.76 earned run average and 139 strikeouts in 143 innings of work.
In 2007, she helped lead Munford to a 36-9 record and the District
13AAA and Region 7AAA championships. Wilson’s senior season honors
include All-District 13AAA, All-District 13AAA tournament, District
13AAA MVP, All-Region 7AAA, the Commercial Appeal’s Best of the
Preps All-Metro team, the Millington Star’s “Softball Pitcher of the
Year”, Miss Milllington Star, and honorable mention Best of the
West. As s junior, Wilson had a 16-6 pitching record with a 1.68
ERA and 113 strikeouts while leading Munford to runner-up in District
13AAA and to the semifinals of the Region 7AAA tournament. In her
career, Wilson was selected to the all-district team all four
seasons, the all-district tournament team three times, and was a
finalist for both the Millington Star and Covington Leader Pitcher
of the Year awards in 2006. She also lettered four years on
Munford’s bowling team and was named All-Region 7AAA tournament all
four years. In addition, Wilson was honored as Munford’s “Bowler of
the Year” and the Covington Leader’s “Female Bowler of the Year”.
Personal: Born August 1, 1989, in Memphis, Wilson is the
daughter of James and Lisa Wilson.
