Corey Miller

Corey Miller, who has extensive fastpitch coaching experience in both travel ball and high school, is in his fifth season as assistant Softball Coach at Southwest. Miller, most recently assistant varsity coach at Arlington High School, was previously Head Coach for the 18U Nationals Gold (based in Chicago), Assistant Coach for the 18U Beach Girls Gold (based in New Jersey) and was the founder of the Phoenix Fastpitch organization. During his time for the Nationals Gold and Beach Girls Gold, Miller coached elite level softball players against the best teams in the country.

A 1992 graduate of Bartlett High School, Miller was a four sport athlete (baseball, basketball, football and golf) for the Panthers and went on to play baseball at Shelby State Community College under Coach John Jarnigan.

Miller has two daughters, Kaitlyn (age 23) and Madeline (age 18).
