Keona Brooks
Position: Forward/Center

“Keona can score in a variety of ways, runs the floor
extremely well, and is a good rebounder. She also provides solid defensive
skills in the post.”
2006-07: Brooks played in 28 games as a freshman, averaging 6.8
points and 4.6 rebounds per game. She led the Lady Saluqis with 38 blocked
shots and her .500 field goal percentage ranked second on the team. Brooks
scored a season-high of 18 points against Saint Catharine and had a top
rebounding game of nine versus Cleveland State and Columbia State.
High School: Brooks played for Coach Sheila Burns at West Memphis
Senior High School in West Memphis, Arkansas. She averaged 17 points as a
senior and was named to the Arkansas AAAAA All-State team and The Commercial
Appeal’s Best of the Preps All-Metro Team.
Personal: Born January 13, 1988, in West Memphis, Arkansas, Brooks is
the daughter of Issac and Sheila Ellis. |
