Jessica Parks
Position: Forward
Height: 6’0”
Class: Sophomore
Hometown: Grand Junction, TN
High School: Middleton
“Jessica will be counted on to add depth in the front court. Her ability
to step out 5-8 feet from the basket makes her a serious threat to the
defenses she will face.”
2006-07: Parks played in 21 games her freshman season, averaging 1.4
points and 1.0 rebounds per game. She scored a season-high six points in the
Jackson State game and grabbed eight rebounds against Shorter.
High School: Parks played for Coach James Burkley at Middleton High
School and led her team to a 29-5 record, the District 16A championship and
Region 8A semi-finals. Parks averaged 12 points per game her senior year and
was also Middleton’s top rebounder. She was named to the all-district and
all-district tournament teams and was selected to play in the Golden Circle
All-Star Game in Jackson, Tennessee.
Personal: Born January 10, 1988, in Jackson, Tennessee, Parks is the
daughter of Arleen and Jessie Parks.
