Twenty-four Saluqi Student-Athletes Receive NJCAA All-Academic
Twenty-four Saluqi student-athletes have been honored as NJCAA All-Academic for their work in the classroom, including four first team honorees. Cameron Baker, Christopher Smith, and Scotty Young from baseball and Jordan Wilson from softball all earned first team recognition for achieving a 4.0 grade point average for the 2025-26 academic year.
Second team selections (3.80-3.99 GPA) were Jacob Brandon, Tylan Graves, Chris Henson, and Luke Miner from baseball, Journey Williams from women's basketball, Keegan Pilant from women's soccer, and Farrah Gomez from softball.
Third team honorees (3.60-3.79 GPA) were Matthew Bright, Ben Bryant, Chase Cameron, Brady Cooper, Ayden McGee, Owen Roether, Ben Smith, and Jonathan Walsh from baseball, Taelor Barrow and Ella Stacy from women's soccer, Jamiyah Jones from women's basketball, Eric Jones from men's basketball, and Julianna Simmons from softball.
Baker, Bright, Henson, and Walsh from baseball, Williams from women's basketball, and Jones from men's basketball were all repeat recipients of the NJCAA All-Academic award.
In addition, the Southwest baseball and women's basketball teams were recognized as NJCAA 'All-Academic Teams' for achieving a team grade point average of greater than 3.0.
