The Tennessee Community College Athletic Association announced its All-TCCAA teams today and the Southwest men came away with two of the major awards as well as three all-conference honorees. Southwest (interim) men's basketball coach Amory Sanders was named TCCAA West Division Coach of the Year and Brandon Mason was voted West Division Most Valuable Player.
Jamey Sanders was also named First Team All-TCCAA while Nikcolauz Merriweather was a second team selection.
Mason and Sanders are the Saluqis' leading scorers on the season, averaging 15 points per game each. Mason also leads the team in free throw percentage at 80 percent. Merriweather averages 7.3 points per game and leads the team with 74 assists and 39 steals.
